If you have been in Moncton in the winter, you have probably heard of Moncton Poutine Week. It is one of those events that feels like it has always existed, like it must have been someone's brilliant idea decades ago. It was not. It was Tammy's idea, brought to life through sheer force of will and community spirit.
Poutine Week brings together local restaurants, food lovers, and community members around one of New Brunswick's most iconic dishes. It celebrates local businesses, drives traffic to restaurants during what can be a slower season, and gives Moncton something to gather around and feel good about. That combination of community building, local business support, and pure fun is very Tammy.
Her involvement with FEAST, Moncton's food and drink festival, runs along the same lines. Tammy shows up for the things that make this city worth living in. And then she works to make them better.
